Peak season delays with Couriers
With CHRISTMAS fast approaching, all courier networks are experiencing a minimum 11% increase in parcel volumes until at least Jan/Feb 2022
Many of our customers are experiencing some delays with their deliveries, we will always ensure we stick to our Guaranteed Turnaround times so your print will be shipped on time still, after it leaves our hub it is with the hands of our courier, DHL, who are experiencing some delays. Unfortunately this is out of our control so if you need something for a deadline or an event, please make this clear to us so we can try to get things shipped earlier to help compensate for these courier delays.
DHL have shared some info on what they’re doing to help:
• Over 400 new, permanent drivers have been recruited and trained, with an additional 500 temporary trained drivers for December;
• A new app has also been rolled out, specifically designed to improve the visibility of parcels as they move through their network. Significant investment has also been made in the latest handheld devices and warehouse scanning equipment;
• 3 new parcel handling and processing locations have been opened (in H ounslow, Swindon and Tunbridge) and capacity is being increased in many existing locations.
